Electrical Engineering

The Department of Electrical Engineering was established in 2015 with an initial intake capacity of 30 students. It is dedicated to nurturing skilled professionals by providing a strong foundation in technical education and practical knowledge. The department aims to equip students for successful careers in the industry and academia while encouraging higher studies and research.

With a focus on excellence in teaching, research, and innovation, the department actively engages in collaborative activities with industry and academic institutions. Additionally, the department strives to make a positive impact on society by promoting ethical practices, sustainability and technological advancements that benefit the community.

Vision of Department

To accomplish and sustain academic eminence in the field of Electrical Engineering and to produce highly skilled Electrical Engineers for self and societal growth.

Mission of Department

M1. To develop high quality infrastructure and facilities related to Electrical Engineering.
M2. To provide high quality technology assisted teaching experience to students.
M3. To enable the students to have better communication skills, moral values, ethics etc.

PEO1. To obtain basic as well as advanced knowledge in Electrical Engineering related areas.

Program Specific Outcomes (PSOs)

PSO1:- Proficiency in using software tools for simulation, design, and analysis in electrical engineering.
PSO2:- Develop hands-on skills in working with electrical equipment, instruments, and devices.

PO1.Basic and Discipline specific knowledge: Apply knowledge of basic mathematics, science and engineering fundamentals and engineering specialization to solve the engineering problems.
PO2. Problem analysis: Identify and analyse well-defined engineering problems using codified standard methods.
PO3. Design/ development of solutions: Design solutions for well-defined technical problems and assist with the design of systems components or processes to meet specified needs.
PO4. Engineering Tools, Experimentation and Testing: Apply modern engineering tools and appropriate technique to conduct standard tests and measurements.
PO5. Engineering practices for society, sustainability and environment: Apply
appropriate technology in context of society, sustainability, environment and ethical
practices.
PO6. Project Management: Use engineering management principles individually, as a
team member or a leader to manage projects and effectively communicate about welldefined engineering activities.
